Gratulation zum Siegerprojekt Neubau Schulhauses Wallrüti

Wir gratulieren Schneider Studer Primas GmbH, Zürich, zum Siegerprojekt  «Grosser Bär» für den Neubau Schulhaus Wallrüti in Winterthur. Das neue Schulhaus Wallrüti ist ein Ersatzneubau, mit 28 Schulzimmern und 28 Gruppenräumen. Es wird das Grösste der Stadt Winterthur werden.

Das Siegerprojekt, «Grosser Bär» begeistert durch innovative und aussergewöhnliche Ansätze. Es kommt ohne Gänge aus. In sämtliche Räume gelangt man nur über die Laubengänge.

Die Zielvorgabe im Projektwettbewerb war eine Investitionssumme von maximal CHF 30.05 Mio. Mit unserem Mandat als Berater der Jury wurden die Vorgaben in der Wettbewerbsdokumentation durch ecas benchmarks © massgeblich geprägt. Zusammen mit BDE Architekten wurde ein Richtprojekt entwickelt, das die bauökonomischen Vorgaben aufzeigen konnte, und somit nachweislich klare Kostenziele bereits auf Stufe Wettbewerb festlegen konnte. Es freut uns, dass dies mit zu diesem positiven Entscheid geführt hat.

Congratulations to the winning project for the new Wallrüti school

We congratulate Schneider Studer Primas GmbH, Zurich, on their winning project «Grosser Bär» for the new school Wallrüti in Winterthur. The new school building is a replacement to the existing school, which will incorporate 28 classrooms and 28 group rooms. It will be the largest school building for the city of Winterthur.

The winner project «Grosser Bär» inspires innovative and is an extraordinary approach in design. It contains no corridors. All of the rooms are accessible via exterior balconies.

The target for the project’s competition was an investment sum of CHF 30.05 million. Our mandate as jury advisor was to predefine the requirements in the competition documents which were significantly influenced by ecas benchmarks ©. Together with BDE architects a conceptual design was developed. This showed the required building factors, and clearly the cost targets which were achievable during the competition stage. We are pleased that this method facilitated in a transparent decision making process for the jury.
