The Lost Shtetl Museum – Autumn Update

As we prepare the Lost Shtetl Museum for the forthcoming winter, we will gradually begin the process of drawing heat from the newly installed geothermal heat production. With an extensive array of 64 geothermal wells (at 100m depth) this system will substantially reduce the museum’s power demands and enable us to achieve our A class energy status.

Through the collaboration of Ridge and Partners LLP (quality control), UAB Veda (design and installation) and UAB “Baltijos plienas” (construction managers), the continued interior fit-out of the museum can continue uninterrupted during the harsh Lithuanian winter.
